So I'm working at Seven Brothers this morning and just when I think I've seen everything , this dude walks into the corral with two snowboards attached to his feet , yes I said snowboards . Bindings mounted , runaway leashes attached , steel edges and he tells me he's ready to test em out . Now I've seen mono-skis (two bindings on one fat ski ), tele-boards (two tele bindings on one long twin tip ski ) , ski-bikes , Uncle Sam sking on 3 foot tall stilts mounted to old school skis and they all ride Seven Brothers Lift . I'm not surprised anymore with where this winter sport goes and I think it's a good thing , creative , fun and still keeps us smiling . So I asked if I could take a picture of this set-up and he's all cool about it , discussing the DIN settings on the bindings , the possible outcome of the first run . Laughing and joking together about the insanity of even attempting this , but you know what ? His enthusiasm , his " I'm gonna have fun " attitude , his buddy was there encouraging him . It was great ! Even working at the lift , I'm still having fun . So we load him on the chair , wish him good luck and off he goes . I didn't see him come back down , but I did see him on the deck of the Bunyan Room later , so I guess he made it back ok . He's a regular around here , I know this aint the last we've seen of this , I want to see him get these things in the Super Pipe before the end of the season , we'll see how it turns out . I'll try to keep y'all posted . Here's a couple pics of the skier ? or is he a snowboarder ? I don't know what to call this new sport , any suggestions people ?
