"they" told us at winter meetings that they can have top to bottom sking in 36 hours
If mother nature keeps the temps below 29 degrees.

Hi- The plan is to have Exodus, Upper Picked, Upper Bear Claw, Grand Junction, Link, Brookway, and Sunset open. We are hoping to open Lower Picked and some beginner terrain (Sarsaparilla and Snubber) on Sunday. It's started to snow and it looks like we'll get a heavy blast this afternoon. I'm trying to be conservative and say 6-10. -Stacy

Loon Mountain Current Conditions - March 16, 2010

Lifts Open: 10
Trails Open: 52
Miles Open: 25
Acres Open: 320
Superpipe Open: True
Minipipe Open: True
Surface Conditions: variable conditions
New Snow (last 24 hours): 0"
Temperature °F: 57°F
Today's Weather: Clear overnight with temps in the 20s.
Forecast: Sunny and mild again Wednesday, temps in the low 50s.
Comments: We're witnessing a sure sign of Spring; skiers and riders in shirt sleeves and cut-offs, an obvious result of the very mild temperatures and bountiful sunshine we're being blessed with. After a below freezing night, the trails start off the morning relativley firm and then soften up quickly once the sun hits them, so get here early and enjoy the entire spectrum of Spring skiing and riding. Mid-week lift lines are usually a lot shorter than the weekends, so the opportunity to ski and ride until you wear yourself out is there for the taking. Great weather, great conditions and lots of terrain to chose from; don't miss it. The Luck of the Irish race is tomorrow and promises to be an outstanding event. Have a good one! -Bud
