I'm hoping that Loon always has at least one bump run going and that the far side of Lower Flume is left ungroomed for the rest of the season. I would also like the bumps to extend to the top of Lower Flume at the Haul Back cross over. Now that I think of it I would like the bumps to continue to the top of Upper Flume. -Just a small portion of the side of the trail left untouched by the groomers. Big Dipper and Triple Trouble just don't seem to have the right conditions to support a good bump run. Flume is the way to go.

Thanks for the feedback. Our plan is to leave the bumps "as is" for the rest of the season. We are also planning on leaving skiers left of Upper Flume ungroomed for the rest of the season. Today was the first of many excellent spring skiing days in our immediate future! We plan to remain open through 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 19. A reminder that 09/10 New England Passes are now on sale. Don't forget the sunscreen!!! -Stacy Lopes

I agree with you, I skied three times at Loon this year and they only had bumps (small) one of those days. I love bumps, and it effects my desire to ski at Loon.

I add the trees are closed a lot, in the three days I was there not one tree trail was open. I hear from others they are rarely open and you should just ski them any how, that Loon is over cautious on their tree trails.

What do people that Ski at Loon more then I do think?

Forecast: Continued mixed precip Monday, gradually ending in the afternoon. Windy with temps in the 30s.
Comments: Keep doing doing your snow dance, please. Some predictions are that we could see 4-7 inches of snow in the base areas and 20-30 inches above 2000 feet! Add those accumulations to our current base depths and the post-storm skiing and riding will be epic! The plan is for all 49 trails, five glades and both half-pipes to be open tomorrow. Terrain Park Rangers will be re-working all five parks and hope to get some open by afternoon. The sun returns early in the week, along with temperatures in the upper 40s, just in time for Wednesday's "Luck of the Irish" race. Saturday is the Governor's Cup and next Sunday is the Cardboard Box race. A lot happening over the last half of the month and we hope you're able to join us for the fun. Have a good one! -Bud
