A network for skiers & riders passionate about snow sports

Loon has done a fantastic job of making snow and grooming, especially these last few weeks it is too bad this has been overshadowed for me by the increasing abuse of lift line cutting especially by the ambassadors.  These are not issolated incidents but a regular occurance.

This was topped off last week when I watched one group of 3 ambassadors  with 4 friends in tow cut through the ski school line twice before we reached the front of the line and were able to load, then as I was riding up this same group was headed down seven brothers for cut number 3.

The word ambassador usually is associated with good will and representation this is not the case at Loon right now.  Loon is a fantastic Mountain with great snow and many great employees I sincerely hope this situation gets attention

Thanks for sharing this observation, Bill. Agreed, the behavior you have descibed certainly does not foster any goodwill. I will look into it.

Best,

Molly

Hi Bill, We have addressed this issue and you should no longer see the ambassadors cutting the lift lines. If you do see this in the future, please let us know! You can respond here or contact me directly at mmahar@loonmtn.com. Thanks again for your observation and enjoy the snow!

Comments: The Luck of the Irish was with us again today with another gorgeous day. Groomers have been leaving a number of trails untouched each night, much to the delight of those of you searching out traditional New Hampshire Spring skiing/riding conditions. Moguls are still in place on Upper and Lower Flume and Lower Speakeasy. Early day skiing/riding on Upper and Lower Walking Boss was pretty popular today and then a number of folks I ran into followed the sun over to South Peak for mid-day action. There are no bad choices! If you haven't started building your entry into the Cardboard Box Race, you better get started; it's scheduled for this coming Sunday. If you're not participating, at least come watch the event. It is tons of fun either way. Have a good one! -Bud
